Joe,

I wrote an Applescript a while back that exports a group of Creator  
files to just about every format possible (Text, PDF, JPG, TIFF)  
while doing a bunch of preflight work as well. It's quite localized  
to our environs, but I'd be happy to send you a copy for your perusal.
