Man, that was a long time ago, but I think this is how it's supposed to go:
The properties of both colors are saved by the script.
The first color is duplicated.
The original first color is assigned the properties of the second color.
The second color is deleted.
The duplicate first color is assigned the properties of the first color
that don't duplicate (like its key equivalent).
IIRC, the script approximates some feature of Quark. You're supposed to
make a new color with the values you want, run the script with some
existing color as the first color and the new color as the second, then
delete the color you swapped out.
(No, I don't know why you wouldn't just edit the existing color.)
