Some gradient export problems have been fixed in 8.0.2. You might want  
to try the latest beta and see if that solves the problem, that way  
you'll know if it's Creator or Distiller. Note that there is a new  
checkbox in the Export EPS dlog for making more compatible (read "less  
smart") gradients.
