printing problems

I have two min macs both with 2gigs of memory and both running os 10.4.10.
One is running creator 8.0, the other is running 8.01..
When I open an ad on the one running Creator 8.0.1 and print it, it is printing very slow. It will go to 6% and the spinning wheel of death come up, then it will go to 27% and the spinning wheel of death comes up. and it prints this way until it gets to 100%. It takes for every to print.

The one running Creator 8.0 with the same ad open prints very fast no spinning wheel of death.

I have gone over the prefs and I can't find anything different.

Has anyone run into this.
