Creator 8.0.2 Beta 49 Now Available

The Creator Professional 8.0.2 Beta 49 is now available for public  
beta testing.  Anyone who is interested in previewing Creator  
Professional 8.0.2 may access the installers at http:// 
www.creatorsoftware.com/partners/beta_testers/. Click on the  
Application Download link, then click the link for Macintosh or  
Windows. Version 8.0.2 is now compatible with Microsoft Windows  
Vista. B49 will expire on December 27th.

Major improvements to Creator Professional 8.0.2 made since build 48  
are as follows:
For Mac:
• The quality of gradients is improved in documents exported to PDF.
• A triangle shape or any path with a point, with a frame width of 10  
point or higher will now refresh properly if moved.
• A grayscale TIFF that has been colorized with a Pantone Spot color  
will now properly separate to a Spot plate.
• Creator now has registered MIME types for the application and .crtr  
files. They are application/vnd.multiad.creator and application/ 
vnd.multiad.creator.cif, respectively.
• Graphic images dragged from the Desktop on Mac PowerPC with OS X  
10.3.9 now place correctly.
• Images printed to a Xinet PDF Spooler or Xinet Print Spooler from a  
Mac PowerPC now print right side up and are no longer mirrored.

For PC:
• The quality of gradients is improved in documents exported to PDF.
• A triangle shape or any path with a point, with a frame width of 10  
point or higher will now refresh properly if moved.

• A keyboard shortcut for Place Graphic into Container has been  
added: Ctrl+Shift+Alt+I.
• The check box in Print>Multiad Options>Use Binary Encoding is no  
longer selected by default.
• Creator now has registered MIME types for the application and .crtr  
files. They are application/vnd.multiad.creator and application/ 
vnd.multiad.creator.cif, respectively.
