cannot open

yes.... just last week... It will probably open on an Intel Mac.   
tech support at Multi-ad suggested this:

disconnect from the servers so the file cannot find the linked art.   
Say "Don't ask" when you get the opportunity.  (looking for art).   
Then, delete the files on the files palette.  Hold down the option  
key when you click on the trash can icon.  Save, close and then try  
to open it.
