Acrobat Professional 8 problems?

We use Acrobat Distiller 6.0.x to process PDFs for our press for hire  
that prints our weekly shoppers and a monthly newspaper. We are  
currently using Creator 7.0.x and Photoshop 7. I plan on moving our  
production over to Creator 8 in January. I'm also tempted to upgrade  
our 3 licenses of Photoshop 7 to Creative Suite 3 Standard. However,  
I have heard that Acrobat 8 Pro has some annoying bugs. Anyone using  
Acrobat 8 Pro in their production OK?
