Added colors in the color list REDUX

My color list keeps growing.

I have a set color palette but after opening a few C4 ads (and I am
not sure this is even limited to old ads) my color palette adds
colors New Color, New Color 1, New Color 2, Blue 1, Blue 2, Red 1,
Red 2, etc etc etc.

On occasion I will open the colors palette and delete the rogue
colors but eventually they return.

We have discussed this issue in the past. Respect CMYK Values is
checked on (no color matching). The colors being added are not spot
colors.

Is there any quick way the color list could be purged
automatically??? My guess is that it could be scripted to compare the
active color palette list against a default list and then delete.
Beyond my capabilities.

Still, doesn't answer the question of the origin of the bastard
colors?? ("The origin of bastard colors" - sounds like a good title
for a book - on sale at your favorite book store!)

Somehow (and this is just major stab in the dark) I think this is
related to C4 print setup. I started noticing the extra colors after
opening ads originally setup to print CMYK. Once, they are in the
color chart they are there until they are removed.
