Ouch! You would ask for that one. I have never gotten a clear discription back from our engineers on this one. I do know that it processes eps files that have jpeg encoding for the preview, sort of decompressing them We have had this option since C6 and have found that over long export times or print times were helped by turning it off. This seemed to apply to large file. The only large file that I saw in you doc was the Logo. It was Illustrator and quite large. You had it placed twice and it might have contributed to the problem.

I realize that this not the answer you are asking for but I don't have much more. From Tech Supports view, if turning it off does the trick, use it.
