upgrade to 8.0.1 - NOW SLOW EXPORTS

I don't know. Sounds suspicious. Exporting to server volume instead  
of local? Lots of gradients? Soft shadows? Large size and a pict/tiff  
preview is being generated?

What elements are around 87% toward the front of the element front-to- 
back order? (This won't be where you think it is if there are a good  
percentage of grouped or contained elements.) That might give you a  
clue.

Gather the document and submit it as a bug if you wish.
