lil pointy things

I seem to get the best results setting the text in Illustrator,  
converting to outlines, increasing the stroke weight and then  
changing the join from miter to round. You might need to drag the  
stroke below the fill in the appearance palette.

I too have seen similar behavior in Creator with other fonts. My  
solution has been to either decrease the outline weight or to turn to  
Illustrator, if it is only a small section of text, like a headline.
