Yes, the days of deciding if you wanted to fill up your hard drive  
with lots of sizes of each font's bitmap files, or only keep one small  
size and live with slower screen drawing as you waited for ATM to  
rasterize the font. Thankfully, both hard drive capacities and CPU  
speeds have increased to the point where this no longer matters.
