PDF text is screened (halftoned)

Hi All,

Thanks so much for all your replies. When we create the pdf.s in house, we
use Corel Draw and export it to CMYK pdf. Corel Draw seems to have
sophisticated pdf abilities - I can spec embedded fonts or text as curves,
image resolution, cmyk or rgb. While I don't have sophisticated pre-flight
software or even an understanding of _all_ the issues, I'm fairly certain
that the basics are right. As I mentioned, it's only with this one paper
that I have this problem.

Many of you mentioned that it may be a process problem at the paper. I
suspect that you're right. You've given me great tips and some ammo (best
practices) to "help" these folks.

Thanks again.
Jonathan
