Colors in Creator 8

We have Creator 8, and I have noticed when some designers do an ad with
certain colors they show up & print with different looking colors, example
there is a burst and an arrow, suppose to be the same color, and on the
screen it looks the same but when printing they are different colors. Why
would that be? Even if I create an eps & open in Photoshop you can see the
different color, but when the designer who originally di the ad opened it up
it was fine.
