Creator versus indesign

A few things off the top of my head:

-- Open and manipulate documents without displaying an open window  
(MUCH faster)

-- Create custom dialogs

-- use Javascript code within AppleScript

-- set user interaction levels (dialogs, alerts, etc) within scripts

-- set "version of script preferences" in CS3, so you can run AS code  
AS IF you are running an older version of Indesign.
